The Lean philosophy suggests that after optimizing your internal processes, the next step in development is to help your suppliers improve theirs.

 

The same principle applies well to digitalization.

To stay competitive, you need to digitize your entire supply chain: from suppliers to customers. Focusing only on internal stages will not yield results.

Companies winning in the fierce competition thave suppliers network with digitalization and automation levels at least as good as their own.

Review your company's daily activities and assess whether they create value for the customer. If not, stop doing them. If they do, digitize or automate them.

No matter how good or bad your company's current level of digitalization is, it's never too late to start or take another step forward. You can follow the Chinese proverb, which says, "The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second-best time is now."

 

If you have decided to digitize your processes with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) or MRP (Manufacturing Resource Planning) software, I can serve as your implementation project manager and lead ERP user.
 

  • Ideally, I get involved before the company's needs analysis phase and provide guidance in drafting the initial project scope to ensure you find the right solution.

  • Before initiating  a project, we agree on its scope, performance metrics, and the project management and communication tools to be used.

  • I ensure that processes to be digitized are streamlined for efficiency beforehand, and all employees understand the benefits of digitalization.

  • I also coordinate the configuration of processes in the software, solution testing, data migration, user training, and the creation of guides.

Experience has shown that the best results come from implementation projects where I contribute as a project manager for one to three workdays a week. On these days, I am fully dedicated to your company, supporting the team in preparing for the project.

I have primarily focused on digitalizing supply chains and implementing the necessary software for manufacturing companies. However, I am certainly ready to digitize processes in other sectors as well.
